Mawarid Mining is first private sector mining company to engage in the exploration and development of copper & gold in the Sultanate of Oman.

The construction of the embankment dam starting at the toe and benching into the existing earth embankment. The length of the dam is 3300 meters and the height of the dam is 30 meters. SES provided and placed a new HDPE liner on upstream face of embankment. The total liner area was circa 200,000 square meters. The liner was also placed all around the circumference of the dam which extended over 4.5 kilometers. We also constructed a decant tower at the center of the damn with a height of over 22 meters and span of beam from the hill support of 24 meters.
